Our Parenting Mentors offer Parenting Workshops throughout San Diego at schools, churches, and recreation centers.

    Bridge over troubled water:

Protecting your children online and off through healthy communication

Ironically, it is tough for families to stay connected in this hyper-connected society. Moms, dads and kids are being tugged in so many directions. How can we stay connected as a family, while building the guardrails our kids so desperately need to be safe? Whether you are a traditional family, blended family, co-parenting or single parenting, this seminar will bring more peace and fun to your household.

You are invited to attend this informative talk with family coach Peg Windisch and divorce mediator, Laura McGee. Together they will present strategies and tools that parents with elementary and middle school age kids can actually use.

    Talk Points:

    – How to set healthy boundaries for the use of technology

    – Identify and address behaviors that lead to parent separation

    – Strategies for building closer family relationships

Peg Windisch is the founder of We Are Coaches, an organization committed to giving hope, building strength, and having fun in the modern family.   After 31 years as a trial attorney, Laura McGee founded Leave Strong Divorce Services, and now works as a divorce mediator. She often mediates parental conflicts and helps parents find common ground, so they can focus on the well-being of their children. Both presenters have personal experience in traditional, step and co-parenting relationships.
